I'm Natalie from Natty Images Photography, and I'm a Portrait and Lifestyle Photographer based in East Linton and I serve East Lothian, Edinburgh and Scotland.

I was born in Germany, but have lived in bonny Scotland for over a decade, I’m married to a handsome highlander and we have two gorgeous daughters. Before I had a family I worked as a paediatric intensive care Nurse for many years, and although it was a challenging job I sometimes still miss looking after the babies.

When I had my own babies, I realised how important it is to preserve memories, and I wanted to do it in the most beautiful way I could imagine – with art and whimsy and a big sprinkling of love! I went on to study Photography and Photoshop to learn the tools to realise my creative vision.

Lifestyle Photography is a genre of Photography that aims to capture images of people in everyday situations, events or milestones in an artistic way. When I work with kids and families, I spend as much time with each family as it takes for the children (and Parents) to relax, and be captured in an easy, relaxed and authentic style.

My aim is to capture photographs of your family you will treasure for years to come and be so proud to show your family and friends.

Childhood is so very fleeting, and it is so important to have those gorgeous details of your kids' little faces preserved, the tiny nose, those long lashes, the cheeky smiles, the chubby cheeks.

I know because over a decade has passed since my oldest child was born, and I never cease to marvel at how quickly that time has flown past.

I love creating artful Portraits for families, children, couples and individuals, with a whimsical, nostalgic touch, preferably while out on an adventure in some magical flower fields or amongst beautiful trees in our gorgeous Scottish countryside. I’m looking forward to capturing your family next, including your crazy dog or your other pets, too!
