NB Distillery has come a long way from their humble beginnings in 2013 in Viv and Steve Muir’s kitchen with a pressure cooker to a purpose-built distillery with serious eco-credentials and multi award winning family of spirits. Their aim was to create the perfect gin by perfecting the exacting and meticulous London Dry distilling process. Their original NB Gin was voted World’s Best London Dry Gin in 2015 and has been selected by the Royal Family on two monumental occasions,served at the Brit Awards and accredited as one of the top 100 luxury brands by Rolls Royce.
The product range includes: NB Classic Gin, NB Navy Strength, a limited edition NB Samphire Gin,NB Citrus Vodka and three NB Rums. New to the range is limited edition School Night – a low-alcohol gin based spirit, inspired by their award winning NB Gin but 50% less alcohol. Ideal for the mindful drinking on any night, even a school night! Housed in a unique Frugal bottle, the packaging is made from 94% recycled paperboard, the perfect addition to the sustainable distillery.
NB Distillery offers a unique visitor experience at its 5 Star Visit Scotland attraction at Halflandbarns, North Berwick. Think log fires, comfy sofas and of course, the perfect gin and tonic. Join their Ginspiration Tour to learn, sample and relax. You will be welcomed with a NB Gin & Tonic, garnished with pink grapefruit and basil, followed by a tour of the Distillery and a ‘flight’ of a further five tasters in the luxury lounge. The venue is also available to hire,accommodating 20 people comfortably, for any special occasion, corporate meeting, networking event, elegant stag or hen parties or simply a long overdue get-together with family and friends.
